Chỉ việc trong quan hệ vợ chồng, gặp người tốt, khôn ngoan thì được nhờ, còn gặp người dở, ngu dại thì cũng phải chấp nhận mà gánh chịu. Thường dùng để nói về sự may rủi và thân phận đã lỡ gắn bó thì khó đổi thay.

This refers to married life: if one ends up with a good and sensible spouse, one benefits, but if the spouse is bad or foolish, one must bear it. It is used to express the luck or misfortune of such a bond and the need to accept what cannot easily be changed.
